I had hoped to keep up with my running and race in the Monster Dash last weekend but that didn't quite happen. Instead, I took a three week break from all things healthy requiring me to commit the month of November to getting "back on track". This is the story of my life - I can't even count the number of times I've had to get "back on track". I'm not complaining but I hope to someday achieve a level of consistency with my eating and exercise habits that doesn't require near constant restarting. Tell me it's possible - even if you have to lie.
I traveled a lot in October. Especially for someone who typically stays pretty close to home. In addition to two weekends on the North Shore I spent a week in Orlando attending a conference for work. I also snuck in a weekend in St. Paul attending Women of Faith for good measure. All of the trips went really well but it feels very good, and I am very thankful, to be home and with my sweetie again. Both Chris and I do better when we are together. Here are some pics from my travels.

I stayed at Disney's Coronado Springs while in Orlando.

So that was my October - a little crazy don't you agree? I've got some fun things planned for November and I'm sure December will try it's hardest to challenge October for craziest month of the year but I'm looking forward to it all - one day at a time - thankful for each moment.

Wow, that was a busy month! I'm glad that the craziness seems to have exhausted itself and you can get back to an easier going pace. And as for consistent eating and exercise habits. Unfortunately I'm a stop and start girl myself. At least a girl can start again and again and again....
Doing the best that you can as often as you can is success. Not restarting is a problem. Getting back on track is a victory.
Good stuff. Love the pictures. Do you think Angie will forgive you for posting a picture of her acting like a chipmunk? :)
YES Some day we will not have to start over again. It is the only thing that gets me through. I too somehow fell far off the horse in October but am pulling it together in November.
Congrats on the new job too. My new job is at 46 and Cedar. I will be driving so close to your house each time I go to work. Too bad you won't be home...
