Chris was very excited about stopping at 'The Artesian Well' on the way to Duluth. It's a little known attraction located just off the highway in Proctor, MN offering its visitors as much cold, fresh, naturally filtered water as they'd like - for free. I had visions of a spa like atmosphere - tall grasses, wildflowers, river rocks, a bamboo spout - maybe a few crickets chirping in the distance.
Hmmm... Not exactly as I had pictured it. The water was very cold, fresh abundant and free - just as promised. The ambiance left something to be desired.
On to Duluth to rest, relax, restore and renew - here is a little taste.
Do you want to know the best part? I get to do it all over again this weekend! Except this time I'll be up the shore about 25 miles in Two Harbors and keeping company with my mom, aunt, sister and niece. What are you up to this weekend?

Beautiful pictures Jessy. Looking forward to this weekend's adventure. ~Mom
How fun. Our family is going up in a couple weeks. I figure by then we will need the winter gear but I don't think there is a time of year when it isn't beautiful up there.
